Panelists: Jane Cassidy, Free Feral, Charm Taylor, Kari Beharse, and Aurora Nealand. March 16 and 17. I'm collaborating with The Music Box and Animal Collective to do all the live visuals for the show. What a treat!
I headed back to Inis Oírr this Winter Solstice to project on the 600 year old O'Brien's castle. Great help came from the secondary students on the island as they drew mandalas inspired by the sun. I animated the drawings together and projected them alongside some of my own content. The weather was dreary but the support was mighty. There were so many helpers on board and since Inis Oírr always provides, the show went ahead! What craic! Thanks a million to all the school students, helpers, Aras Éanna and all the islanders who played a part.

I tested out projections on the 600 year old castle. People started coming up the hill from the village and a car drove over from the other side of the island to see what the craic was. We were getting phone calls and great feedback from the people a mile away telling me what colors were working well, what patterns they could see and "is that a rocket?!. So cool to live something so special on this magic island. What a community!!!!!!! Bigger project coming soon! Áras Éanna Inis Oirr ![]() For all of July I am Artist in Residence at Aras Eanna on Inis Oirr. The island does not quit giving! I'm so lucky to be home!
