in collaboration with Dr. Ray Butler, Dr. Mark Lang, Dr. Matthew Peter Redman and Prof. Andrew Shearer Following a collaborative residency with researchers from the Centre of Astronomy, NUI Galway, Brenan, Cassidy, Manifold and O’Brien present new work which interrogates contemporary approaches to astronomical research in collaboration with four scientists in NUI Galway. This exhibition is part of the Royal Astronomical Society’s 2020 bicentennial celebrations [RAS 200]. This is the only project in Ireland to join four others from the UK that have received RAS 200 Awards to support astronomy and geophysics projects. July 2019 also marks the 50th anniversary of the first person to walk on the moon. |
