PROJECTION MAPPING ON O'BRIEN'S CASTLE
O'Brien's castle is a 600 year old castle on Inis Oírr, the smallest of the Aran Islands in Co. Galway, Ireland. Inis Oírr is a three square mile island with a population of 260 glorious people. For Winter Solstice 2017 I worked with the local secondary school, the students drew mandalas inspired by the sun. I animated the drawings, along with a lot of my own material, and projected onto the castle after sunset. It's one hell of a community project with help coming from all sides of the island.
