Long Since The Sun Has Set
An installation for 4 part surround sound, SATB choir, and 4 channel video.
For the opening night, a 24 person choir wrapped around the gallery with the audience sitting on the floor in the middle. The voices bounced around the room with the light moving in tandem. It was heavily inspired by the hocketing choirs of St Mark's Basilica in Venice. Performed by the Tulane University Choir conducted by Dr Leonard Raybon. Music can be found here. |
