Where Light Lingers at Kylemore Abbey

As part of this year’s Culture Night Late, Galway County Arts Office presents ‘Where Light Lingers’, an immersive light, performance and sound experience at Kylemore Abbey, Connemara, Friday 19 September 2025, from 9pm.

After dusk, wander illuminated pathways and discover site-specific art: ambient soundscapes, soft illuminations and close-up performances. Featuring Galway artists Jane Cassidy, Linda Schirmer, and Alannah Robins, Dublin’s Aoife Dunne, Wexford’s Gillian O’Shea, with performances from Connemara’s Cantairí Chonamara, and project support and collaboration from Youthreach Letterfrack.
